Ever looked at that funny lookin drum and wondered “can i play that”??? Well, maybe you can and maybe you can’t, But Marcus Octavius, drummer extraordinare is going to try to teach you. In this class, you will learn a little history of the drum, some surprising connections, and yes you may walk away with a rhythm or two!!!
Drum Circle Behavior – beginners and intermediate (1.5 hours ) 2:00 – 3:30
Now that you know how to play, you have to find a place to play at. Someplace where your husband/wife/Girlfriend/Boyfriend can save there eardrums and not ready to turn your drum into firewood or a stool! Marcus Octavius now offers a class on how to properly conduct yourself at a drum circle. Subjects include: playing in a group, proper handwear, follow the leader, the spiritual connection, and some simple rules to having fun and doing what you love.
